Terms of Service

Who these terms are with

These terms are between you (the user) and Ádám Nagy, IČ 08436665, registered at Zvěřinova 160/3, 618 00 Brno-Černovice, Czech Republic ("Šmudla", "we", "I"). Contact: hello@smudla.app.

By using Šmudla you agree

By creating an account or otherwise using the Šmudla app or website, you confirm you have read and accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

Šmudla is a household chores, shopping, and activity tracker available as a web app and as native apps on Android (and, in the future, iOS). The service is currently in an early-access / beta phase: features may change, break, or be removed, and there is no uptime guarantee. I provide it "as is".

Who can use it

You must be at least 13 years old to use Šmudla. By creating an account you confirm you meet this age requirement.

Your account

Acceptable use

Please do not:

Your content

Anything you create in your household (tasks, shopping items, notes, screenshots in feedback) belongs to you. By using the service, you grant me a limited technical right to store, transmit, and display this content to other members of your household, strictly to run the service. I do not use your content for anything else.

Ending your account

You can delete your account any time — see delete-data. I may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service. In serious cases (illegal content, security threats) this may be immediate and without notice.

No warranty, limitation of liability

Šmudla is provided without warranty of any kind. I do not guarantee that the service will be available, error-free, or that your data will be preserved against loss. To the maximum extent permitted by Czech law, I am not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer under Czech law.

Changes

I may update these terms. For material changes I will notify you in the app and ask for re-acceptance before the next sensitive action. The "last updated" date reflects the current version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be settled by the competent Czech courts. As a consumer in the EU you retain the right to seek redress in the courts of your habitual residence under mandatory consumer-protection law.
