Each task fills up as the days pass since it was last done. Green while it's fresh, amber as it gets close, red once it's genuinely overdue. One scroll tells you where the flat stands.
The morning reminder does the asking
Once a day, everyone with something overdue gets one notification in their own timezone - never a list of everything, only what has actually run out of time. If that is not enough, one tap on the bell nudges whoever is on the job.

It's someone's turn, and the app says whose
Put a job on rotation and it moves to the next person the moment it's done - they get a notification, nobody has to hand it over. Or assign it directly. If it's overdue, one tap on the bell reminds them.
One shopping list, everyone's phone
Tick something off and it disappears from theirs too. Add the price if you want to know where the money actually goes - the monthly total is waiting in the stats.

Every completed job is written down with a name and a date. Tap any task to see its last entries. If someone logged it late, the time can be corrected.
